This new non-invasive and natural technique is an alternative to microneedling with stunning results from the first treatment.
The unique sea sponge spicules penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and attach themselves to the damaged skin cells, excess oil, dead skin, melanin, acne bacteria, etc. It then works from the inside out by pushing the debris to the surface.
The spicules appear as biological, microscopic needles, they replace microneedling needles. The treatment continues to act for 72 hours after the session.
You will see the difference after the first treatment, however, optimal results will be visible after 3 weeks. Based on specific needs, you may need up to 4 treatments (1 per week) for optimize results.
After the Bio Microneedling Treatment, the skin can be pink and sensitive. You can feel the spicules in your skin for up to 72 hours. Therefore, avoid touching the skin for 8 hours following the treatment. After the 8 hours, it is advisable to use specific at-home products.
Due to the spicules being under your skin, you will feel a prickling feeling at the touch. Do not rub the products, but gently tap them in.
Furthermore, for the 3 days following the treatment, avoid direct sun exposure, alcohol, and extreme exercise. The use of sunscreen is mandatory following each treatment. Peeling of the skin may happen in the 3 to 7 days following the procedure. The use of the at-home products is mandatory in order to avoid excessive peeling and skin damage.
For 3 days after your treatment avoid:
- Alcohol
- Intense exercise
- Sun
- Saunas
Stay hydrated after your treatment. You want to make sure you are drinking enough water as part of your after care.
When applying skincare products at home, do not rub them into the skin as long as you can feel the spicules. Simply tap them into the skin until absorbed.
This treatment can be used on any skin type, and any skin colour, for both men and women. It is designed to be adjustable based on skin sensitivity.
