Azelaic acid: Attenuates and progressively reduces hyperpigmentation.

Salicylic acid: Beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) has a powerful antiaging effect enhancing the reconstruction of the superficial skin tissue.

Lactic acid: Keratolytic alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that stimulates thickening of the epidermis and dermis. Enhances the increase of hyaluronic acid concentration in the extracellular matrix, providing the skin with firmness and hydration.

Resorcinol: A phenol derivative with keratolytic and regenerating properties. Treats melanin hyperpigmentation and evens out skin tone.

Citric acid: Alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) with exfoliating, antioxidant and anti-aging properties.

Phytic acid: A powerful copper chelating agent that enhances the inhibition of the tyrosinase enzyme.

What Results Can I Expect From A Periocular Brightening Treatment?

Immediate brightness will be seen in the area, however long-term results will keep improving up to 3 months. In some clients we advise the combination periocular skin brightening treatments with periocular Hyaluronic Acid (Melilot) microneedling to improve dark hollows and shadows.

How Often Should I Have A Periocular Brightening Treatment?

The number of treatments required will depend on the type and severity of your concern, but a treatment plan will be provided to you after you initial consultation. Generally 5 to 6 treatments are recommended at 2 week intervals, but it can be recommended in conjunction with other treatments for optimal results.

What Is The Downtime For A Periocular Brightening Treatment?

Redness can be expected for 3+ days post treatment. A heated
sensation can also be expected for the next 2 days. Tightness of the skin can be experienced. Dryness and heaviness of the eyes have also been experienced. Dryness and slight skin wrinkling might appear around day 3 after which flaking usually begins on day 3 and can last for a further 3+ days.
