At the core of acnelan is the unique m.acne complex™ with active ingredients such as salicylic acid, mandelic acid, sodium lepargilate and shikimic acid which actively fights acne. The m.acne complex™ not only provides deep cleanse, it also decreases redness and swelling. Furthermore, it has a depigmenting effect. Studies show the m.acne complex™ decreases melanin synthesis.
Acnelan is a professional, specialised treatment method. It combines an intensive 2 week prep home treatment followed by a clinical treatment, which will only be administered by a medical professional in the clinic. Prepping the skin prior to the treatment is essential.
The in-clinic treatment consists of 3 medium-depth peels at 15-21 day intervals. However, you may only need 1 treatment if your acne is mild. Some clients see results after one session, while others take longer.
The number of treatments needed is unique to everyone. Homecare products need to be used in conjunction with the treatment. Following a thorough skin analysis, your skin care specialist will suggest a treatment plan specifically for you.
Acnelan can treat up to grade III, and if you have anything above, you will need to see a specialist doctor for treatment, which may include antibiotics.
